3M Repulpable Splittable Flying Splice Tape 9353 is a double coated, splittable tape designed for straight line flying splices. It has a repulpable acrylic adhesive on both sides and an easy release, repulpable paper liner.Splittable Flying Splice tape is used for splicing conditions when a low break-open force is required. The repulpable adhesives are designed for good shear for both cold set newsprint, and heat set commercial printing processes, and are specifically designed for improved adhesion to a wide range of coated papers. The splittable layer has been modified to provide a lower overall splitting force for improved splice reliability on belt driven presses. This product can also be used on core driven presses.
