Compared to our standard Scotch-Brite Clean and Finish Roll, this roll is denser and more resistant to tearing. Choose this roll for medium-pressure cleaning, scratch blending and creating satin finishes on aluminum, stainless steel and other metals. Hookit Backing for Easy Tool Attachment
One great benefit of Scotch-Brite Hookit Production Clean and Finish Roll is that it includes a Hookit backing. Hookit abrasives work well in spaces where adhesive-backed discs may become contaminated by dust or dirt. Hookit abrasives conveniently attach to hook-and-loop backup pads (sold separately), can be removed cleanly and easily, and can be re-used again and again for the extent of the abrasive life. The backing consists of small loops that are formed when tufts of material are pulled through the abrasive’s scrim. These loops subsequently attach to hooks on the backup pad. Altogether, the system expedites tool attachment.
