3M Vitrified Grinding Wheels 33VH are our vitrified bonded grinding wheels, featuring a mix of pink coloured aluminium oxide and mono crystalline aluminium oxide grains, for conventional grinding operations.

For outer diameter (OD) cylindrical grinding or reciprocating surface grinding, use 3M Vitrified Grinding wheels 33VH.

Our vitrified bonded grinding wheels contain a mix of pink coloured pure aluminium oxide and mono crystalline aluminium oxide grains, providing a much harder combination of abrasives than standard white aluminium oxide grits. These minerals are strong, but also offer a medium friability and cool cutting effect resulting in a long lasting and consistent abrasiveness.

They’re ideal for grinding specific materials such as hardened steel with hardness > 63 HRc and high tensile strength, hardened acid and heat resistant steel, stainless steel, high speed steel (HSS) or cast steel materials.
