3M Moisture Resistant Protective Sheeting is designed to reduce moisture staining in higher-temp drying applications. It provides fast single-person application for reduced overspray-related rework. Film can be used in IR dryers at temps up to 248°F/120°C, helping eliminate dampness. Translucent film is easy to apply, reposition and cut. A light static cling keeps it in place without adhesives.3M Moisture Resistant Protective Sheeting is a premium high density plastic sheeting that resists moisture imprinting or ghosting on painted vehicle surfaces. This premium film allows for ease of handling and increased cling to the vehicle. In addition, it was designed so that tape could be repositioned without tearing and is also easier to cut for better handling around body contour. It withstands temperatures up to 120°C / 248°F for 1 hour, allowing all methods of drying including IR-lamps and ovens. The top face side surface of the film is specially treated to give excellent adhesion to both solvent and waterborne paints, avoiding flaking issues throughout the refinish process.
