Scotch-Brite Roloc+ Cut and Polish Flap Brush uses unique non-woven web design, binding synthetic fibers and abrasive particles to create a conformable, three-dimensional material to provide a smooth and polished finish.

Benefits of the Cut and Polish Flap Brush
Scotch-Brite™ Roloc™+ Cut and Polish Flap Brush is made with aluminum oxide mineral. A popular choice among industrial professionals because of its cut-rate and long life. This mineral is a tough, durable abrasive that self-fractures to expose fresh cutting edges in use, whereas traditional abrasives, such as garnet, quickly wear down with use. Due to its high cut-rate, hardness, strength, and low heat retention, aluminum oxide mineral is widely used for sanding and finishing applications. Aluminum oxide is suitable on a wide variety of substrates in both woodworking and metalworking, including ferrous alloys.

We engineered the Scotch-Brite™ Roloc™+ Cut and Polish Flap Brush to conform to the substrate, making it a great option for working inside diameters and for blending surface imperfections. Its open, flexible flap construction makes it soft and pliable, producing uniform finishes. The open structure of the web reduces the risk of discoloring the part and resists loading, which prolongs the product's life. Our Non-Woven Web is engineered to continually expose fresh abrasive to the work surface, for a consistent, smoother finish – without the risk of overworking the part and disturbing critical tolerances.
