3M Adhesion Promoter K540NTUV is a non-toluene liquid primer specifically formulated to enhance the adhesion of 3M Acrylic Foam Tape and 3M Acrylic Plus Tape to polyolefin-based materials in automotive applications such as polypropylene (PP), thermoplastic olefins (TPO) and ethylene propylene diene monomer (EPDM).Designed to ensure secure bonding of tape to automotive parts, including those used for exterior trim attachment, 3M Adhesion Promoter K540NTUV is ready to use with common application equipment. The pre-mixed UV dye in the formula allows for easy verification of primer coverage. It was formulated to achieve reduced hazardous air pollutant content compared to 3M Adhesion Promoter K520UV.
