Orcon OT-40N
ORCOTAPE OT-40N is a double-sided, differential tack tape designed for adhering aircraft floor coverings. This lightweight, reinforced polyester tape meets Boeing Specification BMS5-133 and is ideal for securing carpets, padding, and galley mats to aircraft flooring. Its differential tack ensures a strong bond while leaving no residue upon removal from the floor surface. Compliant with the latest EU REACH, US EPA, and Boeing environmental safety requirements.
To use, apply the dark gray side (Side 1) to the aircraft floor for strong adhesion. Then, remove the release liner from the black side (Side 2) and adhere it to the backing of the floor covering. Ensure surfaces are clean and dry before application to achieve optimal bond strength. This tape offers a peel strength of 2.0 lbs/inch (min) on the dark gray side and 5.0 lbs/inch (min) on the black side, with a lap shear strength of 30 lbs/inch (min). It also boasts a tensile strength of 20 lbs/inch (min).
