ORCOTAPE OT-157TN is a pressure-sensitive, reinforced metalized polyvinyl fluoride tape used for fabrication, repair, and installation of thermal/acoustic aircraft insulation blankets. This tape meets the latest EU REACH, US EPA, and Boeing environmental safety requirements.
To use, simply apply the tape to the desired surface, ensuring it is clean and dry. The tape's pressure-sensitive adhesive provides a secure bond for various applications within aircraft interiors. It is designed for thermal and acoustic insulation blanket construction and repair. This tape exhibits a weight of 3.3 oz/sq. yd (112 g/sq. m) maximum, peel strength of 2.5 lbs/inch minimum, and tensile strength of 10.0 lbs/inch minimum. It also passes flammability tests according to BSS7230 and FAR Part 25 App. F Part I and VI.
