Highlights

AUTOMATION COMPATIBLE because of the 3M Hookit attachment, which allows for easy application and removal
CHANNELS INCORPORATED to reduce debris loading and extend disc life
CONSISTENT RESULTS as the abrasives reveal new cutting surfaces with each use
EASIER BREAKDOWN formulation as compared to 3M Finesse-it Hookit Film Disc 460LA
GRADES AVAILABLE in A3, A5 and A7
SAND WITH CONFIDENCE as the micro-structured silicon carbide cuts sharply, removing imperfections without gouging
3M Finesse-it Hookit Film Disc 464LA is an extension of the channel concept introduced with the 460LA but formulated for even easier breakdown, this design helps to reduce debris loading and extend disc life as well. This disc uses 3M’s microreplicated technology that helps remove surface imperfections from clearcoats without changing the surface topography. The 3M Hookit attachment is ideal for automated systems to easily attach, remove and replace the disc without operator intervention.3M Finesse-it Hookit Film Disc 464LA is an is an extension of the channel concept introduced with 460LA but formulated for even easier breakdown. It is designed to reduce debris loading and extend disc life. The design is also engineered by incorporating silicon carbide mineral into a matrix of repeating microstructures, and the film backing minimizes the chance for surface abnormalities. The micro-structured silicon carbide mineral cuts sharply enough to quickly remove imperfections, but not so much so that you risk gouging or marring the surface. It is commonly used for defect repair on clear coats, paint and plastics, because it can effectively refine these surfaces without significantly gouging or damaging the workpiece. Available in three grades -- A3, A5 and A7, 3M Finesse-it Hookit Film Disc 464LA is used for clearcoat spot repair by automotive manufacturers worldwide. It can be used for both manual and automated processes.
