Series 1170 film is part of 3M's system of matched components and is specifically developed to provide optimal cutting, weeding, lifting, and transfer features when used with electronic cutting machines. It is dimensionally stable and intended for application over 3M Reflective Sheeting to economically produce street name signs and other single copy traffic control signs.Highly transparent to give equal or better retroreflective performance than sheetings screened with transparent inks
