3M Scotch-Weld Dual Drive Pneumatic Applicators are used to dispense two-component 3M Scotch-Weld Structural Adhesives packaged in Duo-Pak (DP) cartridges. There are a variety of pneumatic applicators available to match the needs of your manufacturing process.Dispenses Two-Component 3M Scotch-Weld Structural Adhesives 3M Scotch-Weld Dual Drive Pneumatic Applicators make dispensing two-component 3M Scotch-Weld Structural Adhesives clean and easy with minimal waste. Air pressure drives the dual pistons directly into the Duo-Pak (DP) cartridge, applying equal pressure and feeding the two components of the adhesive directly into the mixing nozzle (sold separately). These pneumatic dispensers offer highly precise dosing with precision drip-free dispensing, while the pistol grip provides comfortable handling and precise control. They immediately reach maximum pressure with no power lag, and an integrated regulator enables fine-tuning of the flow rate. A built-in silencer enables quiet operation, and the air input has an integrated PTFE seal for quick release. Conversion kits allow 1:1, 2:1, 4:1 and 10:1 cartridges to be used in the same dispenser while offering comfort and control. A dual-drive mechanism provides synchronized movement of plunger rods to balance the force applied to each cartridge. Universal trays will also fit the manual dispensers, while controls are easily accessible by both right- and left-handed users. NOTE: These dual drive applicators have no safety interlock pin, so pulling the trigger will activate the drive mechanism even if there is no cartridge in place. It is also important to be sure the cartridge is firmly seated at the base of the dispenser tray so that the plunger rods properly align through the cartridge to dispense.
