Orcon LT23 MD-TY1
PEEK Tapes BM5-157 (LT23 MD-TY1) is a scrim reinforced, metallized, delustered polyether ether ketone backing, coated with a high performance acrylic PS adhesive and protected with a paper liner. It's used for making, installing, and repairing aircraft thermal/acoustic insulation blankets. The laminating adhesive is effective up to 120°C. To apply, ensure the surfaces are clean and dry before applying the tape. Press firmly to ensure good adhesion. The tape offers excellent adhesion to covering films and fibrous insulation materials.
Compliant with FAR 25.856(a), FAR 25.853, and FAR 25.855, this tape ensures both strong adhesion and lightweight properties, making it ideal for demanding aerospace applications. Store in original container under conditions of 70 degrees F. (21 degrees C.) and 50% RH to ensure it retains its properties.
