DeSoto IFT HS coatings are VOC compliant, two component, chemically cured, acid and fluid resistant polyurethane modified coatings. DeSoto IFT HS coatings are designed to provide maximum protection of aircraft fuel tanks against fresh or salt water,aircraft fuels, hydraulic fluids, engine oils, and diluted acid solutions. DeSoto IFT HS coatings have excellent adhesion to chemically treated surfaces and exhibit good intracoat compatibility with fuel tank sealants when properly cleaned, even after long term exposure to fuel. D e S o t o IFT HS coatings are used to protect the inside of an aircraft’s fuel tank against corrosion from fuel contaminants. DeSoto IFT HS coatings are compatible with all current spray equipment and are easy to apply in a variety of environmental conditions.
