Lube-Lok 1000 is a ceramic bonded high temperature solid film lubricant designed for use in the 800°F-2000°F range. Its lubricating pigments consist of synthetic graphite and lead oxide, which provide low friction and high load carrying capacity at high temperature. Lube-Lok 1000X consists of a base coat of Lube-Lok 1000 followed by a topcoat of Lube-Lok 2006. This combination provides the best performance for applications involving operations, which start at lower temperatures and progress into the 1000°F range. The topcoat of Lube-Lok 2006 also provides a durable surface, which resists the hazards of handling and installation far better than the Lube-Lok 1000 by itself.
