Provision of long-term corrosion protection for the structural members of airframes and of the interior surfaces of aircraft skins. The fully dried coating is resistant to de-icing fluids, toilet sanitisers and exterior aircraft cleaners. The film is transparent and hard and is suitable for the long-term protection of components and assemblies, which are to be transported, stored or used in corrosive environments. The transparency is such that ident-marks can easily be seen through the coating.
